About us


We are professional couple living on the Sunshine Coast, focussed on providing the full range of relief management services to resorts, apartment complexes and motels in Queensland and throughout Australia. We established this website in February 2010 and quickly gained work in Mooloolaba, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  Since then we have managed a variety of complexes in Queensland and Northern New South Wales. We managed four resorts in Coolum Beach, primarily through recommendation.  We are especially pleased that managers of 13 complexes have granted multiple appointments, with many ongoing throughout 2013 and 2014.

Harry has a full Real Estate Licence, allowing us to work throughout Australia and can show apartments for sale should you require this.

We previously owned the management rights of a resort in Caloundra for four and half years, finishing in December 2009.  Though the complex had potential, percentage occupancy was only in the low 50s when we took over.  By building excellent relationships with owners and Body Corporate committee members and understanding guest requirements, we were able to improve both the units and the common property to provide staying guests and owners a great place to holiday and live.  Despite the Global Financial Crisis, percentage occupancy had continued to grow into the 70s during 2009.

Prior to owning the management rights, we had both been in customer facing roles.

Maureen had her own chiropody business as well as working in a pathology lab in a large hospital, including managing the laboratory reception and associated staff.

Harry had been a driving instructor and held a number of management positions in a large international pharmaceutical company, being responsible for providing their internal telecommunications services.

Skills: -

  • All aspects of reception, reservations (both holiday & permanent), staff management and rosters.

  • Experience of managing unit complexes and a Tourist Park from 15 to 130 rooms.

  • Excellent communication skills via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face.

  • All aspects of financial management including end-of-month process, paying owners and suppliers on-line.

  • Building a loyal client base through excellent service delivery.

  • Management of agent websites – Wotif, Rates to Go, Quickbeds, Ready Rooms, Roamfree, etc either direct or via applications such as Siteminder.

  • Negotiation of wholesaler contracts – A1 Holidays, Australian Escapes, Queensland Accommodation Corp, Gold Coast Holidays.

  • Developing advertising and promotional media.

  • All housekeeping and pool & grounds maintenance.

  • Project management.

  • Preparing submission to body corporates as part of  remuneration review.

  • Front office software – HIRUM, Ezyrez, Puma and Guestpoint.

  • Admin software – Microsoft Office 2010 suite, Siteminder, HiSite, Easy Online, FirstIn, & various telephony integration packages.

  • Finance software – M.Y.O.B Accounting Plus and Quickbooks.
